I was gearing to get a hold of your RSVP list particularly those who can come tonight. I was waiting for your response yesterday but nevertheless I regret to inform you that I myself can not come tonight. Just give my regards to those who will attend. Maybe we can re-schedule another one, something like near christmas or so. Next time, I promise, I will make it up to you.
